Garden in Transit in times of Covid.

POH has big plans for its Garden in Transit kinetic-themed projects in 2020 and beyond.

The GIT vehicle-aircraft-transport-water/land-motion projects, beginning with the airplane for the Centennial of Flight Celebrations in Kitty Hawk, has now involved thousands of taxis; ice groomers; fire-lifeguard-rescue-ambulance and law enforcement vehicles; watercraft; transport carriers; and floatation works.

These mobile projects include POH’s integrated elements of public art, creative therapy for children in hospitals, civic education in schools, and community engagement opportunities for children and adults in social service programs – providing participants with the opportunity to share in large-scale civic accomplishments through the makeovers of iconic symbols and public settings from LA to NY and beyond.
